Ikshita Chikan Embroidered Lehenga

Like a night garden blooming in silence, the Ikshita Lehenga is a study in contrast — tradition held within a bold, modern frame. Crafted from flowing Jet Black silk georgette, it tells the story of Chikankari in its most dramatic expression — a canvas where shadow work meets jewel-toned radiance.

Hand-embroidered using intricate bakhia, tepchi, murri, ghas-patti and phanda stitches, the lehenga unfolds in a lush forest floral aesthetic, its motifs blossoming like tangled vines in moonlight. Intertwined throughout are accents of ruby, sapphire, emerald, and topaz resham thread, echoing the richness of Indian gemology. Carbon crystals, bugle beads, glass tubes, and sequins are delicately embedded, shimmering against the darkness with quiet precision.

A zardozi-embroidered floral border crowns the hemline, lending the piece both grandeur and depth. The lehenga is fully lined with can-can and satin, giving it volume without weight. It is paired with a jewel-neck camisole, richly hand-embellished to echo the detailing below, and a sheer organza stole with tonal appliqué, completing the ensemble with layered elegance.
